I’ve never really taken too much time to see how people are finding me. Honestly, most of you likely find me by my comments on other blogs and to be even more honest it is just nice to know that people are reading a relatively new blog. Boredom has gotten the best of me and I am actually typing my post from my Kindle Fire (yay for a long wait at the much dreaded gyn appointment; I tend to worry too much over routine things. I think I’m more apprehensive about this than when I had foot surgery in late October). I’m actually quite impressed with myself as to how quickly I can type a post on my Kindle Fire. (ps now what the appointment is over and I’ve finished this post, the dreaded appt. was a breeze and the doctor was extremely nice.)
A majority of people who find me through search engines:
- fitness on crutches
- quick workouts
- Christmas appetizers
- foot surgery recovery
- Christmas cookies
And then you have some more unique search terms:
- I injure myself too much (this would probably be my personal favorite)
- Tom Cruise
- Walking boot
- Ugly sweaters
- Injured again
- I go to the doctor’s too much
Questions for You:
- What’s the most random way a reader has found your blog?
- What’s your least favorite doctor?
Who doesn’t need a little bootcamp at home in the morning? I opted for the 30 second drills.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
Today marks the first Christmas that I didn’t wake up in my parent’s house! All grown up now and waking in in my own home!
What does your day have in store for you?
Me….presents at my parents then a day at my aunt’s with my mom’s family. Always a loud and interesting time! Plenty of food and cookies! I’m pretty excited to finally get my Kindle Fire, but I think I’d be more excited if I could kick this nasty flu I’ve had for the past few days…I haven’t been sick in years and ended up with the flu just in time for the holidays.
Enjoy your day!

Its finally Friday and can I just say that I love Friday’s. This week has been an awesome week!
- My incision looks great
- I don’t have my cast any more
- I can finally get all the purple market, including my doctor’s initials off my foot
- I haven’t taken pain medication in five days and I am practically walking like a normal person
- I got an awesome freelance offer
- I also go an offer to teach at a community college
- My Kindle Fire came in the mail!
Pretty exciting week and it’s Friday. Friday’s are the best. I normally end up working for a few hours in the morning (which is awesome). Since the holidays are quickly approaching, I’ll probably head out with my mom this afternoon to do some shopping. Although I got a lot of shopping done online when I has random bouts of insomnia thanks to my post-surgery meds. I also really need to find an ugly Christmas sweater for a party I am hosting in a few weeks (first party ever as a home owner). I’ve tried Goodwill but I just can’t get past the awful smell when you walk in the door!
I’m hoping for a work-free weekend. Here are some potential weekend activities:
- Light up night in Pittsburgh
- Ice skating (might not be the best idea given I’m 3.5 weeks out of surgery)
- Out to dinner
- Shopping with my sister
- the Zoo
- Light up night in my local boro
What do you have planned for this weekend?
Have you ever attended and ugly sweater Christmas party? Where did you get your sweater?
